Course Enhancement Modules (CEMs) provide resources that both faculty and professional development providers can use to support teachers and teacher leaders at the pre-service or in-service level in facilitating and implement evidence-based practices. 

Diversity Plans/Statements

University of Florida

The "Diversity Plan for Recruitment and Retention of Faculty, Graduate Students and Undergraduate Students" was drafted by the Diversity Team of the College of Education of the University of Florida in January of 2003.

University of Michigan

The "University of Michigan School of Education Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement and Strategic Plan" was drafted to "to provide faculty, staff, and students with a framework and charge to prioritize, develop, and implement actions necessary to realize the commitments outlined in the school’s diversity, equity, and inclusion statement".

A resource for educators, administrators, and other practitioners within the field of education who are interested in social justice and anti-bias frameworks.

Understanding and Connecting Our Ways of Being in the World [Article]

The article seeks to promote sensitivity and understanding in classrooms with Latinx populations, as well as to promote classrooms that are nurturing to undocumented students. The author argues that all educators share a responsibility to create a school social environment and provide an educational curriculum that serve to treat all students fairly and equitably regardless of race, social class, socioeconomic circumstances, gender, sexuality, religion, belief, disability, or any other characteristic of background or group membership. Teachers have no control over when or how students come to their classrooms, but they do have an obligation to make their classrooms safe and productive.
