BCOE Standing Committee for Diversity's Membership

The Standing Committee for Diversity is composed of the BCOE Director of Diversity, Equity, and Advocacy, one permanent faculty member or representative from each academic department, one faculty member or representative from each academic department/school, one staff member representing academic departments/schools, and one staff member representing support units. If a member resigns and/or is no longer able to perform membership duties, a newly elected member will fill the vacant position created from that unit.

Each faculty member is nominated by that unit and serves a two-year-term and is staggered to ensure continuity of representation. Each staff member, one academic, and one support is nominated and elected by BCOE staff and serve a two-year-term.

The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Advocacy serves as the Chair..
